Henry IV throne

Built, painted, upholstered this chair based on designs of c.1200 AD furnishings. It was deliberately oversized so that even our Henry looked dwarfed when he sat in it, symbolizing the delusion which had so completely overtaken his life. Really, EVERYTHING about this set was massive, and fun to do!

The throne went home with me for many years before I returned it to Theatre AUM. My cat claimed it as hers for the entire time.
